Background
Principal Elizabeth is a dedicated educator, administrator, and passionate advocate for Orthodox Christian ministries. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Education with a concentration in English and a minor in Religious Studies, a Master's degree in Curriculum Development, and a Certificate of Advanced Study in English as a Second Language and Bilingual Education, specializing in the Spanish language. Additionally, she has obtained an Educational Specialist degree in Administration and Supervision, with endorsements in Gifted Education and coursework in Special Education.
With extensive experience teaching and working with students of all ages, Principal Elizabeth is currently affiliated with a local university's Curriculum and Instruction Program. She has actively participated in various Orthodox ministries, such as Feed My Neighbor, Sisters of Faith, Spanish Teacher, and creating and editing an Orthodox prayer book in Spanish. Committed to lifelong learning, she has recently completed a Master's degree in multiple disciplines and is pursuing a Doctorate in Disability and Equity, focusing on Disability in the Orthodox Church.
Principal Elizabeth's passion for Orthodoxy and education transcends traditional boundaries, as evidenced by her authorship of Newrome Press' first Spanish Language Orthodox book for children, titled "Me Encanta Orar." She is currently involved in translating an Orthodox Children’s book from English to Spanish. In her personal life, Principal Elizabeth finds joy as a proud parent to four children. She values personal and professional growth, continuously seeking to share and attain knowledge for the betterment of her students and community.
